How is teaching organized in a free schools?
Learning includes joint activities of children in a heterogeneous social group as well as individual activities. The classroom allows children free access to aids and materials and cooperation between children. Children have the opportunity to move freely while learning within the defined boundaries of a safe environment. This allows children to make maximum use of the prepared environment, to realize their developmental tasks and to have enough time for discovery, concentration, mutual communication, free play, learning at their own pace and mutual help.
Amazing ARK Village
We are located at a beautiful Liberland diaspora village on the banks of the Danube, near Apatin (Serbia). We are 30 minutes from the nearest airport (Osijek), 2.5 hours from the Nikola Tesla Airport near Belgrade.
Main ARK building has two floors. We want to leave one to go wild, the other will have spaces for quieter moments. We were taken by the closed yard with greenery. We are also thinking about a coworking room for parents.
A few steps from the Club is a nature reserve, cultural center, stadium, museum, sports halls, playgrounds. Nearby there are two small towns (Sombor and Apatin) full of cultural heritage, whose history provides children with a sound basis for building their relationship to the world.
Tuition from the 2024/25 school year
From September 2024, we offer children attendance 5 days a week. The tuition fee will be 200 eur. If it is possible for you, we will appreciate the payment of tuition fees for the whole year (or for half a year) not only to reduce the administrative burden. Paying fees for a few months in advance would help us a lot, also because of the considerable initial expenses for the renovation of the Club premises.
In the 2024/25 school year, unfortunately, we do not yet have the option of accepting students for individual education.
We are aware that the amount of education fees can be a significant impact on the family budget for some families. If this is your case and you see the ARK education club as the only way for your child and yourself, we will try to find a solution together. If, on the other hand, you can afford to pay higher tuition fees, we will be grateful for your support (we will issue a donation receipt).
We are looking for an investor
Our Education Club strives to be open to all, not to be a selective. We want to set tuition fees that will be acceptable to the wider public. We plan to be a registered education club (NGO). At the same time, we have to find, build and modify the Club building ourselves. So it is not possible without tuition fees. We need a person who will help us fulfill our dream and get or directly donate money for the start of the Education Club and a new building.
Why support us?
We implement an educational program based on the principles of a free education. We also provide children in our region with the opportunity to learn from internal motivation, without coercion, external evaluation and manipulation. Children participate in management and thus learn competences for future life already at ARK Village.
